#50BestTalks: Turin

At #50BestTalks 2025 in Turin, leading chefs and bartenders gathered at the Officine Grandi Riparazioni to share how storytelling shapes culinary creativity. The line-up included Dominique Crenn, Virgilio Martínez, Jeremy Chan, Bruno Verjus and Agnese Morandi, Mindy Woods, and mixologists Ago Perrone and Giorgio Bargiani. Each speaker explored how dishes, ingredients, and drinks carry personal, cultural, and geographic narratives. From Crenn’s poetic tribute to the sea at Atelier Crenn to Martínez’s mapping of Peru’s ecosystems through altitude-based menus, and Woods’ championing of Indigenous Australian cuisine, the session reinforced flavour as a deeply human expression rooted in memory, place, and identity.
