The bar scene in Malaysia is one of the quickest growing in Asia, with Penang Cocktail Week set to debut on the 1st to 8th September 2024 with a lineup of international guest shifts, masterclasses, competitions, and parties, hosted by multiple bars across Georgetown. Here’s the complete lineup and what you need to know.
The Full Lineup: Penang Cocktail Week 2024
The cocktail week in its second year, founded by Koh Yung Shen of Backdoor Bodega who is also No. 52 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars in 2024. The hosting bars in Penang this year will be Backdoor Bodega, Jo’s Bar @ Ascott Gurney, Shokudō Niban, The Cellar @ Macalister Mansion, Good Friends Club, The Nest, BaoBae, Nomad, No Bar Here, BISO, and Hin Bus Depot. The lineup will feature global names through guest shifts, masterclasses, takeovers, bartending showdowns, and a yacht party.
