Avengers: Endgame does not need any introduction to what it is, and the past 10 years have been the cumulation of this epic ending of one of the best endeavours in film by the Marvel Cinematic Universe in our time. Marini’s on 57 has taken a step further by creating a series of cocktails to give these heroes the send-off they deserve.
Before we start, we just want to let you know that there are *no spoilers* in this review, so you can read on without anything here ruining the film if you haven’t had a chance to watch it.
For the month of March, Marini’s on 57 have started their celebration of International Women’s Day with the celebration of Captain Marvel, and now, as we reach the Endgame, we further delve in to the cocktail creations in celebration of some of our favourite Avengers and the MCU as a whole.

Marini’s on 57 Celebrates Avengers: Endgame
Marini’s on 57 has taken the additional step to serve some of their delicious concoctions which are great homages to existing Marvel characters. Without any confirmation of a third film for Ant-Man and with Guardians of the Galaxy 4 still in the talks, we pay homage as necessary below.
Iron Mate
Iron Mate is an homage to none other than Iron Man, and consists of red wine, lime juice, Olmeca tequila, grenadine syrup and passion fruit purée. This drink is served in a large wine chalice and lives up to the strength of character showed by Iron Man. The red wine coupled with the passion fruit gives you a nice deep flavour, and is definitely not for the weak of heart. This drink makes a good choice for people seeking a stronger drink, which it delivers upon. If you are someone who likes you drink strong, try this.
Captain 57
The Captain 57 is an homage to Captain America, and consists of vodka, lemonade, lemon juice, cranberry and Bol’s blue curaçao. This drink is balanced with the right amount of sweetness with sourness. The lemonade comes through, with the blue curaçao giving the cocktail a nice play of flavour. This drink not only taste amazing, but delivers on the looks like our true blue American soldier with its iconic blue and red coloration.
A Wasp
A Wasp is an homage to The Wasp from the Ant-Man franchise, and consists of midori, apple syrup, pineapple juice, crème de menthe and Havana Club 3 years. The drink is served in an elegant glass, and is rimmed with crystal sugar bits giving the drink some contrast in colour. As you can never go wrong with the light and melon-flavoured midori, this drink is bound to be a favourite.
Like Groot
Like Groot is an homage to Groot of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, consisting of rum, mango purée, orange biters, coconut cream and chartreuse green. This cocktail is perfect for those looking to have a tropical inspired cocktail, with its lashings of rum, mango and coco nut. What makes this drink the most special is not only its taste, but the drink itself is quite the spectacle visually.
The Marini’s on 57 Experience
The one thing you can never fault Marini’s on 57 with is ability to deliver on the perfect dining and drinking experience at the top. Marini’s on 57 boasts one of the best views of the Petronas Twin towers, so you can see why it makes the perfect place to talk about the film once you’ve watched it, and better yet, over a drink celebrating the great Tony Stark and Steve Rogers.
