The Bridge: Cathay Pacific’s Business Class Lounge

The Bridge, Cathay Pacific’s Business Class Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport, sits near Gate 35 and remains one of the airline’s most distinct offerings. Designed with a warm residential feel, the split-level lounge features cherry wood finishes, black granite, and curated art from Cathay’s own collection. It caters to a quieter crowd than The Pier, offering a more structured experience.

The lounge is divided into two wings. On the left, The Noodle Bar remains a staple, serving up wonton noodles, dan dan mian, and a rotation of dim sum that gives a nod to local tastes. Next to it, The Nook offers hot Chinese small plates—think dim sum steamed hot in cart that aren’t trying too hard. On the right, the Food Hall takes a more international route, with hot dishes, salads, pastries, and cold cuts. The Long Bar faces the tarmac with a decent cocktail list and barista service.

Showers are clean and efficient, and the Solo chairs near the windows offer genuine privacy, with charging points and decent Wi-Fi. While it doesn’t have the spa-like calm of The Pier, The Bridge serves as a reliable option for business travellers seeking a quieter space without sacrificing comfort or convenience.
